BioACS in Moscow medical institutions

Infomatika has successfully implemented the first stage of a large-scale project to modernize the security system of Moscow's leading medical institutions. The key task was the introduction of modern access control and management solutions with support for biometric identification.

In record time — just 2 months — 35 largest medical institutions of the capital were equipped with high-tech ACS equipment. Among them:

  • MMCC "Kommunarka"
  • N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute for Emergency Medicine
  • S.P. Botkin Moscow Clinical Scientific Center
  • Morozov Children’s City Clinical Hospital
  • N.I. Pirogov City Clinical Hospital

The BioACS project is implemented on the basis of high-tech smart turnstiles of the Contour Classic and Concept Plus series, which are distinguished by modern design and ergonomics, high throughput and support several passage scenarios: by facial biometrics and by map.

The system is successfully integrated with:

  • Rubezh Strazh is the main ACS platform
  • Object-based access control systems
  • The regional segment of the Unified Biometric System (UBS)

Special attention is paid to compliance with legislative requirements. The project fully complies with the norms of Federal Law No. 572-FZ "On Biometrics".

To work with biometrics, Infomatics engineers provided a video stream from the cameras.:

  • The "Concept Plus" turnstile model has a built-in screen for displaying the video stream.,
  • The Contour Classic turnstile has received an upgraded design with the possibility of installing a terminal with an integrated screen.

The successful implementation of the first stage of the project opens up new opportunities for the further development of the security system of Moscow medical institutions. The introduction of modern access control technologies not only increases the level of protection, but also contributes to the overall digitalization of healthcare in the capital.
