Meridian Gateway

Meridian Gateway a high-tech, one-directional smart turnstile made of stainless steel and tempered impact-resistant glass. 
It has two pairs of swing gates and a two-step identification system (document + biometrics).

Applications
The device is designed for indoor use at facilities where visitor identification is required. Typical applications include:

-  Airports: provide automated passenger processing at passport control and boarding areas.
- Customs points: efficient border control with minimal queues.
- Critical infrastructure: access restricted to authorized personnel only.
- Restricted access areas: such as corporate or government buildings.

Passage Zone Configuration
The passage width options include 600 mm, 900 mm, or 1200 mm, depending on the installed gates.
The gate ensures one-way movement, with no provision for reverse passage.
The turnstile can be equipped with a half-height barrier system made of stainless steel and tempered glass.

Standard Configuration
Passport scanner + biometric facial recognition terminal 
Optional Configurations:  Passport scanner + iris scanner + fingerprint scanner

• Single-Person Entry: Entry is strictly one person at a time, monitored by built-in sensors.
• Biometric and Document Verification: Inside the gate, biometric data is matched with passport details to verify the individual’s identity.
• Security Measures: If the passport is blacklisted or data mismatches occur, access is denied. The gate locks, preventing the visitor from exiting until the issue is resolved.
• User Guidance: The system is equipped with signal indicators and a display that provides step-by-step instructions and status updates to visitors during the identification process

Entry
The visitor enters the gate, and the first pair swing gates automatically close behind them. Built-in presence sensors ensure that only one person is inside the gate.

Passport Scanning + Biometric Verification 
A prompt appears on the screen, requesting the visitor to place their passport on the scanner. Once the passport is scanned, the system instructs the visitor to remove the passport and look at the camera for biometric comparison.  If match is successful  - the process continues, if mismatch or restricted passport - the system alerts security, if Incorrect Scan: If the document is improperly scanned (e.g., misaligned or incorrect pages), the screen provides guidance. Timeout: If the issue isn't resolved within 10 seconds, the identification process is interrupted, and the swing gates return to the open state.

Fingerprint Verification (Optional)
After successful passport and facial biometric verification, the system requests the visitor to place their index finger on the fingerprint reader. If match is successful  - the process continues, if mismatch - the system alerts security.

Final Identification
If all checks are completed successfully, the second set of swing gates opens.
A message on the display invites the visitor to go

Return to Standby Mode
After the visitor exits, the second set of gates closes, and the first set reopens.
The system resets and is ready for the next visitor.
