ART Center, Kazan

ART Center is a multifunctional complex that opened in Kazan in November 2024. The complex brings together retail galleries, cafés and restaurants, a fitness club, and business facilities. It also includes a business center with modern office spaces and a coworking area.

The business center’s entrance area required a controlled access solution for employees and visitors, supporting multiple identification methods and integration with the facility’s existing access control system.

Infomatika was tasked with the following objectives:

• Provide access control at the business center’s entrance area;
• Enable access using both physical and virtual credentials;
• Integrate the equipment with the Sigur access control system.

To ensure the security of employees and visitors, the business center was equipped with high-tech Contour Bio swing-gate smart access control turnstiles manufactured by Infomatika.

Key Project Components:

• Contour Bio Smart Turnstiles. Access through the turnstiles is provided using MIFARE contactless cards and virtual credentials on smartphones. The equipment features color displays showing access status, reasons for access denial, and service notifications. Intelligent LED indicators show the direction of passage and user category and signal unauthorized access attempts. A servo-driven mechanism ensures rapid gate response when an access credential is presented.
• Accent 975 Fencing System. The waist-high fencing complements the entrance area equipment, creating a controlled access zone and guiding users through the turnstiles.

Integration 

At the Customer’s request, each smart turnstile is equipped with a Sigur reader supporting NFC and BLE. This enables employees to use virtual access credentials on their smartphones: access is available either by tapping the device on the reader via NFC or in hands-free mode via BLE from a distance of up to 10 meters.

Scope of Supply:

• Manufacturing, delivery, and installation of Contour Bio swing-gate smart turnstiles — 4 lanes (5 units) — and the Accent 975 waist-high fencing system;
• Integration with the Sigur access control system;
• Equipment commissioning.
