Moscow Transport Unified Dispatch Center, Moscow
Installation of M2030 smart turnstiles with biometric identification at the entrance to the second building of the Unified Dispatch Center.
Implemented in 2026
On September 2, 2026, the second building of the Moscow Transport Unified Dispatch Center opened in Moscow. The new building expanded the city’s integrated transport management complex and became the dispatch center for surface and river transport.
The scale of the facility reflects the scale of the city’s transport system. A unified dispatch network coordinates more than 900 surface transport routes, 6,500 buses and electric buses, thousands of metro, Moscow Central Circle, Moscow Central Diameters and tram vehicles, as well as more than 190 river vessels. The new building covers approximately 8,000 m² and provides workspaces for more than 400 specialists.
A high-tech facility of this kind required equally capable access infrastructure. The entrance needed to fit seamlessly into the building’s integrated digital systems, provide fast, controlled access for employees, support biometric identification and work with the facility’s access control system.
Infomatika was tasked with:
- creating a modern, high-capacity entrance to the new Unified Dispatch Center building using smart turnstiles;
- customizing the turnstiles to accommodate RusGuard R20-Face (8T) biometric terminals;
- providing safe, automated access for employees and connecting the turnstiles to the building’s fire safety system;
- integrating the turnstiles with the facility’s access control system.
Infomatika served as the project’s technology partner for the entrance to the Unified Dispatch Center’s second building. The company’s specialists adapted the equipment to the facility’s requirements and handled its production, delivery, installation and commissioning.
Key project components
- M2030 smart turnstiles. Manufactured by Infomatika, these swing gate turnstiles provide fast, safe access at facilities with heavy foot traffic. Biometric identification is provided by RusGuard R20-Face (8T) facial recognition terminals built into the turnstiles at the entry and exit of each lane. Each lane has 44 infrared sensors that monitor a person’s position in the passage area. The turnstiles support online and offline operation and an anti-panic function. They are designed for intensive use, with a mean of at least 20 million passages between failures.
M2030 smart turnstiles are integrated with the RusGuard access control system. Biometric identification uses built-in RusGuard R20-Face (8T) facial recognition terminals, with due regard to the requirements of Federal Law No. 572-FZ, which regulates the use of biometric personal data to identify and authenticate individuals.
The turnstiles are also integrated with the building’s fire safety system and form part of the facility’s overall security infrastructure.
Scope of work:
- Manufacture, delivery and installation of M2030 smart turnstiles: 9 pedestals forming 8 access lanes.
- Equipment commissioning.
