Innovative College at Rudnevo Industrial Park, Moscow
Equipping the educational institution with high-tech Contour Bio smart turnstiles for access control and management.

Rudnevo Industrial Park, opened in Moscow in 2023, is part of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone and brings together high-tech manufacturing facilities. It is home to the Federal Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems, established jointly with the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the National Technology Initiative (NTI) Platform. The center’s infrastructure includes laboratories, a training and methodology center, and a high-tech college focused on training specialists for emerging technology industries.
When equipping the college, it was necessary to implement automated access control using both physical and mobile credentials and ensure integration of the entrance area equipment with the educational institution’s existing information systems.
Infomatika was tasked with the following objectives:
- Provide access control at the college entrance area;
- Enable access using contactless cards and virtual credentials on smartphones;
- Ensure integration of the equipment with the Electronic Card Access and Meal System and the facility’s existing access control system.
Infomatika served as the contractor responsible for equipping the college with high-tech access control and management equipment.
Key Project Components:
- Contour Bio Smart Turnstiles. Waist-high swing-gate smart turnstiles provide automated access control at the college entrance area. Contactless cards and virtual credentials on smartphones are used for identification.
- Accent 975 Mechanical Gates. Installed as part of the entrance area alongside the smart turnstiles.
Integrations
To support both physical and virtual access credentials, each smart turnstile was factory-equipped with an ESMART® Reader supporting NFC and BLE technologies.
The ESMART® Access application supports two operating modes:- Hands-Free — no need to hold the smartphone close to the reader. The credential can be detected from a distance of up to 10 meters, even when the smartphone is in a pocket.
- Tap Like a Card — the smartphone can be used like a contactless access card by holding it close to the ESMART® Reader.
The smart turnstiles are integrated with the Electronic Card Access and Meal System and the facility’s existing access control system (ACS).
Scope of Work:
1. Manufacturing and delivery of Contour Bio smart turnstiles with integrated ESMART® Readers — 2 lanes (3 units);
2. Manufacturing and delivery of Accent 975 mechanical gates — 2 units;
3. Integration with the Electronic Card Access and Meal System.
