Galiaskar Kamal Tatar State Academic Theater, Kazan (The New Building)

On January 20, 2025, Kazan hosted the grand opening of the new building of the Galiaskar Kamal Tatar State Academic Theater. This modern, multifunctional complex has become a key cultural center of the republic, meeting global standards.This unique 30,000 m² venue features four auditoriums with a total seating capacity of 1,500, stylish public spaces, panoramic restaurants, and an open-air stage.The official opening ceremony was attended by the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova, Russian Minister of Construction Irek Fayzullin, as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities.
The project became an important step in the digitalization of cultural venues in Tatarstan, providing a modern and convenient space for both spectators and theater staff. Infomatika served as the project's technology partner, equipping the new theater building with the state-of-the-art "Lenta" ticketing and access control system.
The company's experts implemented a comprehensive solution to automate ticket sales processes and enhance audience access control.
Ticket sales automatization
The venue is equipped with the professional ticketing and access control system "Lenta" which enables ticket sales within a unified ticketing space with no restrictions on sales channels. It manages all TCS equipment, including turnstiles, gates, ticket terminals, mobile cash registers, and scanners. With additional modules like "Lenta – Accreditation" and "Lenta – Concert Complex" the theater can sell tickets not only for theatrical performances but also for concerts in the concert hall and guided tours of the building.
Ticketing access control based on "Concept" and "Contour Bio" smart-turnstiles
Modern, highly reliable smart turnstiles are installed in key areas of the theater: the automatic smart gates "Concept Gate" are located in the theater foyer, the smart turnstiles "Contour Bio" at the staff entrance, and the automated gates "Concept DUO" at the exit areas of the halls. The smart turnstiles installed in the theater seamlessly blend with the aesthetic of the new building. As an additional access control measure, the stewards will use mobile ticket-checking terminals "Lenta-TSD."
Online Ticket Store Development
Infomatika specialists developed an online store for ticket sales on the theater’s website.
Integration with external systems
The ACS "Lenta"system has been integrated with external sales agents. This has made it possible to sell tickets for events not only through the venue’s box office and official online store but also through ticket operators.
The project was implemented jointly with the project integrator – ICL company.
