Khimki Basketball Center, Moscow region
Implemented in 2016.
In 2016, automating the club’s ticketing processes required a ticketing system supporting online ticket sales and integration with the venue’s existing infrastructure.
Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:
- Automate ticket sales and accounting;
- Integrate the ticketing system with the venue’s existing access control system;
- Enable integration with the club’s CRM system;
- Install server infrastructure and staff workstations;
- Enable online ticket sales through BC Khimki’s website.
Infomatika specialists implemented a comprehensive solution to automate BC Khimki’s ticketing processes. The infrastructure connected ticket sales with subsequent ticket-based spectator access control and enabled integration with the club’s and venue’s existing information systems.
Key Project Components
- LENTA Automated Ticketing and Access Control System. Automates ticketing processes, from ticket purchase to spectator entry. The system combines software modules, server equipment, and automated staff workstations and is integrated with the venue’s existing access control system.
- Online Ticket Store. Developed on BC Khimki’s website and integrated with LENTA to enable online ticket sales for the club’s events.
Integration
LENTA is integrated with the venue’s existing access control system and BC Khimki’s CRM system.
System Management Infrastructure
Server infrastructure was installed to support the ticketing system. Automated staff workstations were set up: 2 cashier workstations and 1 administrator workstation.
Scope of Supply
- Implementation of the LENTA automated ticketing system;
- Integration with the venue’s existing access control system;
- Integration with the club’s CRM system;
- Installation of server infrastructure and staff workstation equipment: 2 cashier workstations and 1 administrator workstation;
- Development of an online ticket store on BC Khimki’s website.
Project Expansion in 2020
In 2020, the club’s management asked Infomatika to address access control at games held across different sports arenas, each using access control systems from different manufacturers. Uploading ticket data and downloading entry records for every game was time-consuming and inconvenient.
To address this, the club was supplied with the Lenta-ACS Lite standalone access control hardware and software system and 10 Lenta-TSD handheld mobile scanners. This mobile solution enables ticket-based spectator access control at any venue, independently of its existing access control system.
Ticket sales data is exchanged in real time between the LENTA automated ticketing and access control system and the ACS Lite access control server. This enables ticket validation using handheld scanners even during connectivity interruptions.
