Deployment of the LENTA Ticketing System at the Volleyball Center.

Implemented in 2026

The Volleyball Center in Yaroslavl, opened on February 11, 2025, is one of Russia’s most advanced sports facilities. The complex features a 5,000-seat main arena, training courts, a beach volleyball facility, and a sports and wellness center with a swimming pool, gym, and spa area.

The arena serves as the home venue of Yaroslavich Volleyball Club, a member of the Russian Volleyball Super League, the country's top-tier professional volleyball competition.

Project Objectives

The scale of the facility, its multifunctional infrastructure, and the need to host sporting events of various levels required the implementation of a modern solution capable of providing:

  • automated ticket sales;

  • fast and secure visitor admission to events;

  • access control across various functional areas of the complex;

  • integration with external ticketing services and information systems;

  • user-friendly management tools for staff.

To meet these objectives, Infomatika deployed the LENTA ticketing and access control system, integrating hardware and software components into a unified solution.

The solution brought together access control equipment, server infrastructure, software modules, and automated staff workstations into a single digital ecosystem for facility management.

Access Control System

The access control system is based on Vector-series smart turnstiles installed at the facility's entrance points. Designed to handle high visitor volumes, the equipment is widely used at stadiums, sports arenas, cultural institutions, and other high-traffic venues.

The smart turnstiles ensure controlled access to the facility's key operational areas, including:

  • the main competition arena;

  • the gym;

  • the swimming pool;

To organize and direct visitor flows, the entrance areas were equipped with a system of guide railings.

The venue's access control staff use mobile ticket validation terminals, enabling fast ticket verification and efficient crowd management during events.

Workstations and Software Infrastructure

As part of the project, staff workstations were equipped with automated workstations for cashiers, system managers, security personnel, accreditation operators, and the Central System Control Unit (CSCU).

To extend the system's functionality, the project included an integration module for external ticketing agencies, as well as the LENTA Accreditation and LENTA Monitoring software modules:

  • LENTA Accreditation is used to manage event accreditation processes. The module enables the issuance of personalized badges for staff, participants, and media representatives, granting access to designated areas of the facility according to their roles and access permissions.
  • The LENTA Monitoring module enables real-time monitoring of field equipment, allowing operators to promptly identify malfunctions and prevent potential incidents during events.

To enable online ticket sales, Infomatika developed a dedicated online ticketing platform fully integrated with the facility's ticketing and access control system.
