The Ice Palace of sports "Siberia-Arena", Novosibirsk
Comprehensive equipment of Sibir-Arena Sports Palace with Lenta ticketing system hardware and software complex.
Implemented in 2023
Sibir Arena is a multifunctional ice sports complex in Novosibirsk, covering 72,000 square meters and accommodating 10,587 spectators. The six-story facility was built for the 2023 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship. Today, it is the home venue of Sibir Hockey Club and the Sibirskie Snaipery junior team. The ice rink measures 60 × 26 meters, close to NHL dimensions, while the main arena can be reconfigured for concerts, forums, and other large-scale events.
The new multifunctional arena required comprehensive automation of ticket sales and spectator access control, including two-stage ticket validation at the venue’s outer and inner perimeters.
Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:
- Automate sales of tickets, season passes, and related services for sporting and entertainment events;
- Implement two-stage spectator access control;
- Equip the outer and inner perimeters with the required access control equipment;
- Provide access for visitors with reduced mobility;
- Enable mobile ticket validation;
- Enable online ticket sales through Sibir Arena’s website;
- Integrate the ticketing system with external ticketing agents;
- Install server infrastructure and set up automated staff workstations.
Infomatika comprehensively equipped Sibir Arena with the LENTA-Sport automated ticketing and access control system. A distinctive feature of the project was the implementation of two access control perimeters.
Key Project Components
- LENTA-Sport Automated Ticketing and Access Control System. Provides comprehensive automation of ticket, season pass, and related service sales, as well as spectator access control for events.
- UCR-7A Interactive Multifunctional Control Modules. Outdoor modules installed on full-height turnstiles at the outer perimeter. They feature integrated barcode and QR code readers, color displays, and IP cameras for facial recognition.
- Horizon Smart Turnstiles. Waist-height turnstiles installed at the inner perimeter entrances to control spectator access.
- Navigare Gate. A waist-height swing gate providing access for visitors with reduced mobility.
- Lenta-TSD Mobile Ticket Validation Terminals. Used by stewards for additional ticket checks during events.
- Online Ticket Store. Developed by Infomatika for Sibir Arena’s website, reflecting the venue’s corporate branding and hosted on a subdomain.
