MAU "Ice Palace", Cherepovets

The Ice Palace is a major sports and cultural venue in Cherepovets and the home arena of Severstal Hockey Club. It hosts Kontinental Hockey League games, concerts, and other public events. In 2025, its aging access control infrastructure required an upgrade to meet modern requirements for security, throughput, and visitor comfort.

Key Project Objectives:

• Upgrade the existing access control infrastructure.
• Ensure fast and safe spectator entry during peak periods.
• Manage access for spectators, accredited persons, and technical staff through a unified system.
• Provide dedicated access arrangements for visitors with reduced mobility and VIP box guests.
• Equip staff with mobile ticket validation devices.
• Enable centralized equipment management.

Infomatika implemented SEACS LENTA to control access for spectators, accredited persons, and technical staff. The software is listed in the Russian Software Register.

• SEACS LENTA Spectator Access Control System. Provides centralized access management for different visitor and staff categories. Supports ticket validation, QR codes, electronic tickets stored in digital wallets, and MIFARE cards, while recording transactions and user actions. The system also supports integration with ticketing systems, security software, and marketing and analytics modules.

• Vector Plus Smart Turnstiles. Installed at the main entrances to handle the primary spectator flow. Support identification using contactless cards, barcodes, QR codes, biometric data, and BLE and NFC credentials. In anti-panic mode, the rotating arms fold down to clear the passage for evacuation.

• Vector Gate Smart Gate. Provides convenient access for visitors with reduced mobility and supports multiple identification methods. In an emergency, the gate automatically unlocks to allow unrestricted exit.

• Flagman Lite Smart Turnstile. Provides a dedicated entrance for VIP box guests. Its built-in display shows access status, reasons for denied entry, and service notifications. LED indicators guide visitors and signal unauthorized access attempts.

• Lenta-TSD Mobile Ticket Validation Terminals. Used by stewards to check tickets in different areas of the venue. Their mobile format enables additional checkpoints to be deployed according to demand.

System Management Infrastructure

An automated administrator workstation was set up for centralized system management. It enables real-time monitoring of equipment operation and entrance traffic, control of access devices, and report generation.

Scope of Supply

• Manufacture and supply of 19 Vector Plus smart turnstiles;
• manufacture and supply of 1 Flagman Lite smart turnstile;
• manufacture and supply of 1 Vector Gate smart gate;
• supply of 5 Lenta-TSD mobile ticket validation terminals;
• supply of a barrier system;
• supply of equipment for 1 administrator workstation;
• commissioning of the equipment.
