Arena Multifunctional Sports Complex, also known as Abay Arena, is a sports venue in Semey with a capacity of 5,000 spectators. Covering 33,800 m², the complex includes a multipurpose sports hall, facilities for football, volleyball, handball, boxing, and fitness, and a swimming pool with ten 50-meter lanes, springboards, and a 10-meter diving platform. The pool’s spectator stands accommodate 500 people. The complex also provides space for a cinema, café, and children’s play area.
The project required a ticketing and access control system for the 5,000-seat multipurpose sports hall and the swimming pool with 500 spectator seats, automating ticket sales and visitor access control.

Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:
- Automate ticket sales.
- Organize visitor access control for the multipurpose sports hall and swimming pool.
- Equip entrances with turnstiles.
- Enable mobile ticket validation.
- Integrate the ticketing system with external ticket agents.
- Establish server infrastructure and automated staff workstations.
Key Project Components
- LENTA Ticketing and Access Control System. Automates ticketing processes and controls visitor access to the venue.
- Horizon Smart Turnstiles. Waist-height pedestal-type turnstiles provide controlled passage for visitors.
- Mobile Ticket Validation Terminals. Used for additional ticket checks at the venue.
Integration
An integration gateway was connected to enable data exchange with external ticket agents.
System Management Infrastructure
The project included server node equipment and three automated staff workstations: two cashier workstations and one manager workstation.
Scope of Supply:
- Deployment of the arena’s ticketing system.
- Connection of an integration gateway for external ticket agents.
- Manufacture, supply, and installation of Horizon waist-height pedestal-type turnstiles — 10 units.
- Supply of mobile ticket validation terminals — 3 units.
- Supply of server node equipment and staff workstation equipment: two cashier workstations and one manager workstation.
