National Stadium, Dushanbe, Tajikistan
Implemented in 2026
The National Stadium in Dushanbe is Tajikistan’s largest new sports venue, with a capacity of 30,000 spectators. The sports complex occupies a 9.5-hectare site and has a total floor area of more than 42,000 square metres. Built in accordance with FIFA international requirements, the stadium is designed to host football matches and international sporting events.
The scale of the venue and its projected high attendance required a modern ticketing and access control infrastructure capable of providing fast, controlled entry for different categories of visitors.
Infomatika was tasked with the following objectives:
- creating a unified ticketing and access control infrastructure for the stadium;
- ensuring sufficient throughput at entrance areas during large-scale events;
- automating ticket validation and spectator access control;
- supporting different access scenarios for spectators, VIP and VVIP guests, athletes, and people with reduced mobility;
- enabling mobile ticket validation points;
- integrating the ticketing and access control system with external ticketing providers;
- managing visitor flows and separating access zones at the entrances.
Infomatika specialists equipped the stadium with an integrated hardware and software solution based on the LENTA automated ticketing and access control system. The solution covers key spectator-facing processes, including ticket sales at the stadium’s box offices, ticket distribution through the venue’s ticketing partners, automated ticket validation at entrances, access control, and reporting. All equipment is integrated into a unified hardware and software platform.
The ticketing and access control system covers 35 stadium entrance areas and supports various access scenarios. In addition to the main spectator entrances, dedicated access zones are provided for VIP and VVIP guests, athletes, and people with reduced mobility. Each entrance area is configured according to its purpose and expected traffic volume, helping distribute visitor flows and ensure sufficient throughput during large-scale events.
Key project components:
- LENTA automated ticketing and access control system. Automates ticket validation and spectator access control. The system integrates software modules, ticket offices, and entrance control equipment within a unified information environment.
- Horizon and Contour Classic smart turnstiles. Serve as fixed access control points at the stadium entrances and provide automated visitor entry. The equipment meets FIFA’s stringent requirements and is designed for use at major sports venues.
- Mobile ticket validation terminals. Complement the fixed infrastructure by enabling ticket checks directly within entrance areas and allowing spectator assistance points to be organized flexibly.
- Barrier system. Defines access zones, directs spectator flows, and organizes entry to fixed access control points.
Integration with External Ticketing Providers
An integration gateway was implemented to connect the LENTA automated ticketing and access control system with the stadium’s external ticketing providers. It enables the real-time data exchange required to keep the systems synchronized.
