Yantarny Sports Club, Kaliningrad

Yantarny Sports and Entertainment Complex in Kaliningrad is a modern multifunctional facility featuring multipurpose sports halls, swimming pools, gyms, and other sports facilities. It hosts training sessions and competitions in disciplines including volleyball, basketball, swimming, and fitness. The complex is also the home venue of Lokomotiv Kaliningrad Region Volleyball Club.

In 2018, establishing a ticketing system for Lokomotiv Volleyball Club required automated ticket sales and ticket validation for spectators attending events at the sports complex.

Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:

• Automate ticket sales for Lokomotiv Volleyball Club events;
• Enable ticket sales through the club’s website;
• Provide ticket-based spectator access control;
• Enable ticket validation independently of the venue’s access control system;
• Set up automated staff workstations.

Infomatika specialists implemented the LENTA automated ticketing system at the venue. The solution includes the Lenta-ACS Lite standalone access control hardware and software system and Lenta-TSD mobile ticket validation terminals.

Key Project Components

• LENTA Automated Ticketing System. Automates ticket sales for Lokomotiv Volleyball Club events, including sales through the club’s website, and transfers sales data for subsequent ticket validation at entry.
• Lenta-ACS Lite Standalone Access Control Hardware and Software System. Operates as part of the LENTA ticketing system and provides ticket-based spectator access control independently of the venue’s access control system. Ticket sales data is transmitted to its server in real time, while ticket validation remains available during temporary connectivity interruptions.
• Lenta-TSD Mobile Terminals. Used to validate tickets as spectators enter the venue.

Integration

LENTA is integrated with Lokomotiv Volleyball Club’s website to enable online ticket sales for the club’s events.

System Management Infrastructure

Three automated staff workstations were set up to operate the ticketing system: 2 cashier workstations and 1 administrator workstation.

Scope of work:

Implementation of the automated control system "Lenta";

·  standalone software and hardware access control system "Lenta"- ACS Lite

· 5 manual mobile scanners "Lenta-TSD". 

· Staff workplace equipment (2 cashier workstations, 1 administrator workplace are automated)

· Realization of ticket sales on the website of VK "Lokomotiv"

· Commissioning works.
