Central stadium, Astrakhan

Tsentralny Stadium in Astrakhan is a multifunctional sports complex and the home ground of Volgar FC. With a capacity of 18,000 spectators, the stadium hosts football matches, other sporting events, and public gatherings.

Volgar FC required automated ticket and season pass sales, expanded online services for fans, and an upgrade of its existing turnstiles without replacing them entirely. The solution was to implement the LENTA-Sport ticketing and access control system and adapt the existing Gotschlich turnstiles to support new access control scenarios.

Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:

• Automate ticket and season pass sales for Volgar FC matches.
• Organize online ticket sales through the club’s official website.
• Adapt the existing Gotschlich full-height turnstiles for use with the ticketing and access control system.
• Enable mobile ticket validation.

Infomatika implemented the LENTA-Sport ticketing and access control system, automating the football club’s ticketing processes. An online ticket store was developed and launched on Volgar FC’s official website.

A distinctive feature of the project was the upgrade of existing turnstile equipment. Infomatika retrofitted the Gotschlich Ecco Arena/Olympia full-height dual-lane turnstiles with its proprietary interactive multifunctional control modules, allowing the installed equipment to operate as part of the new ticketing and access control system.

Key Project Components

• LENTA-Sport Ticketing and Access Control System. Automates ticket and season pass sales and controls spectator access to the stadium.
• Interactive Multifunctional Control Module. Developed by Infomatika to retrofit the existing Gotschlich Ecco Arena/Olympia full-height turnstiles.

System Management Infrastructure

The project included a server node and four automated staff workstations to support the ticketing and access control system.

• Retrofitting of five Gotschlich Ecco Arena/Olympia full-height dual-lane turnstiles with Infomatika’s proprietary interactive multifunctional control modules.
• Supply of a set of Lenta-TSD mobile terminals.

Project Expansion in 2022

As part of the stadium’s reconstruction, Infomatika continued retrofitting turnstiles with its proprietary interactive multifunctional control modules.

Four full-height dual-lane turnstiles and one full-height single-lane Gotschlich Ecco Arena/Olympia turnstile were upgraded.

Five full-height turnstile passage lanes were equipped with Infomatika’s proprietary interactive multifunctional control modules.
