Tennis Academy, Kazan

The Tennis Academy in Kazan is one of Europe’s largest modern tennis complexes. Its sports infrastructure includes 35 tennis courts: eight indoor hard courts and 27 outdoor courts, including eight clay courts. The complex also features six beach courts. The Academy’s central arena accommodates 3,000 spectators.

In 2013, the Tennis Academy hosted events during the 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan. Preparations for the international competition required a modern ticketing and access control system to manage ticketing services and visitor entry.

Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:

• Implement a ticketing and access control system to automate the sports complex’s ticketing services.
• Organize controlled visitor passage through turnstiles.
• Provide the technical infrastructure needed to operate the system.
• Set up automated workstations for security staff and a manager.

In preparation for the 2013 Universiade, Infomatika implemented the LENTA ticketing and access control system at the Tennis Academy and equipped its entrance with turnstiles.

Key Project Components

• LENTA Ticketing and Access Control System. Automates ticketing services and controls visitor access to the sports complex.
• Waist-Height Rotor Turnstiles. Two-arm turnstiles provide controlled visitor passage.

System Management Infrastructure

The project included a server node and two automated staff workstations: one security workstation and one manager workstation.
