Central Stadium, Kazan

Tsentralny Stadium is one of Kazan’s principal sports venues and the home ground of Rubin FC. With a capacity of 25,000 spectators, the UEFA Category 4 stadium is equipped to host top-level football matches. It has hosted Russian Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and UEFA Europa League games. Its sports infrastructure also accommodates athletics competitions at various levels.

In preparation for UEFA Champions League matches, the stadium required infrastructure upgrades to automate ticket sales and provide reliable spectator access control.

Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:

• Automate ticket sales and spectator access control for football matches.
• Ensure orderly spectator entry through the stadium entrances.
• Equip the stadium with full-height turnstiles and emergency exit gates.
• Enable centralized management of the ticketing and access control system.
• Train stadium staff to use the new equipment and software.

Infomatika carried out comprehensive implementation of the LENTA ticketing and access control system at the stadium. The project included preparation of the entrance infrastructure, installation of full-height turnstiles, manufacture and installation of emergency exit gates, and development of proprietary electronic equipment for passage control and ticket validation.

The company’s specialists designed and manufactured turnstile and gate controllers, along with ticket and season pass readers. LENTA connected the entrance equipment with ticketing processes and spectator access control.

Key Project Components

• LENTA Ticketing and Access Control System. Automates ticket sales and controls spectator access to the stadium.
• Full-Height Turnstiles. Provide controlled spectator passage through the stadium entrances.
• Emergency Exit Gates. Provide evacuation routes through the entrance areas.
• Turnstile and Gate Controllers. Proprietary equipment developed by Infomatika to control the entrance turnstiles and gates.
• Ticket and Season Pass Readers. Designed and manufactured by Infomatika to validate tickets and season passes as spectators enter.

System Management Infrastructure

The project included a server node and automated staff workstations to support LENTA operations. Infomatika also trained stadium staff and provided support for the implemented system.
