ForteBank JSC, Kazakhstan

Equipping the entrance areas of two bank branches with Resonance swing-gate smart turnstiles. Installation and integration of Hikvision biometric terminals.

ForteBank is one of Kazakhstan’s largest banks, with more than 20 years of experience in the market. The bank provides services to both individuals and businesses, with a network spanning 34 cities and communities across the country and comprising 120 branches and offices.

At ForteBank branches in Astana and Almaty, the existing turnstiles, which had been in operation for more than 10 years, needed to be replaced. The outdated equipment did not support modern identification technologies, including biometrics, and limited opportunities for further automation of access control processes.

Infomatika was tasked with the following objectives:

Modernize the access control equipment at the entrance areas of two bank branches;
Enable access using contactless cards, facial biometrics, and temporary QR-code passes;
Integrate the new equipment with the existing Sigur access control system and Sigur visitor management system.

Key Project Components:

Resonance Smart Turnstiles. The swing-gate smart turnstiles are made of high-quality stainless steel and tempered glass, ensuring reliability, durability, and a modern appearance. They are equipped with contactless card readers, QR-code scanners, and color displays. Permanent access is provided using contactless cards or facial biometrics, while temporary QR-code passes are used for visitor access.

Integrations

The smart turnstiles are integrated with the Sigur access control system. To support the Sigur visitor management system, the equipment is fitted with QR-code scanners, allowing temporary QR passes generated by the system to be used directly at the entrance.

At the Customer’s request, the turnstiles were additionally equipped with Hikvision biometric terminals and integrated with the facial recognition system, enabling biometric identification for access.

Scope of Supply:

Manufacturing and delivery of Resonance smart turnstiles:

Astana Branch — 7 lanes (8 units);
Almaty Branch — 4 lanes (5 units).
