Equipping the facility with an access control system based on Concept automated smart gates and Resonance smart turnstiles with integrated palm vein biometric readers.

New Management Technologies is a Moscow state institution focused on the development and implementation of management solutions for city government organizations. Its specialists contribute to the development and improvement of urban management processes.

When equipping the entrance areas, it was necessary to implement access control supporting both traditional access cards and contactless biometric identification, provide accessible passage for visitors with reduced mobility, and enable the use of temporary visitor access cards.


Infomatika was tasked with the following objectives:

  • Implement automated access control at the facility’s entrance areas;
  • Enable access using access cards and palm vein biometrics;
  • Provide accessible passage for visitors with reduced mobility;
  • Automate the collection of temporary visitor access cards.

The project was implemented in collaboration with BioSmart. As part of the project, Infomatika deployed several types of access lanes to support different user access scenarios.


Key Project Components:

  • Resonance Smart Turnstiles. Swing-gate smart turnstiles provide controlled access for employees and visitors. Identification is performed using either an access card or contactless palm vein biometrics.
  • Concept Gate Smart Gates. Swing gates support access using both access cards and palm vein biometrics and operate as part of the equipped entrance areas.
  • Concept DUO Smart Gate. A waist-high automated gate with an increased passage width provides accessible entry for visitors with reduced mobility.
  • Access Card Collector. Designed for the automated collection of temporary visitor access cards. The unit is made of stainless steel and matches the design of the entrance area equipment.


Integration

The Resonance smart turnstiles and Concept Gate smart gates were factory-equipped with BioSmart PalmJet contactless biometric scanners and integrated with the BioSmart access control system. The scanners can identify users even with wet or slightly soiled hands, minor cuts, or while wearing thin medical gloves. This solution enables fully automated access to the building without the need for physical credentials.




     Scope of Work:

    1. Manufacturing and delivery of Concept DUO automated smart gate — 1 unit;

    2. Manufacturing and delivery of Resonance swing-gate smart turnstiles with integrated BioSmart PalmJet palm vein biometric scanners — 3 lanes (4 units);

    3. Manufacturing and delivery of Concept Gate swing smart gates with integrated BioSmart PalmJet palm vein biometric scanners — 2 units;

    4. Manufacturing and delivery of an Access Card Collector — 1 unit;

    5. Equipment installation and commissioning;

    6. Integration with the BioSmart access control system.
