UNO Multifunctional Complex, Kazan

UNO is a new-generation multifunctional complex in Kazan, combining residential buildings, a shopping gallery, cafés, recreational areas, and business infrastructure. The complex includes a Class A business center — a 12-story office building with a total area of 9,000 m².

The building’s architectural concept placed high demands on its engineering systems: an innovative solution was required that would seamlessly integrate with the modern design while ensuring reliable access control.

Infomatika was tasked with the following objectives:

• Provide controlled access to the business center for employees and visitors;
• Enable access using contactless cards and smartphones;
• Integrate the entrance area equipment with the facility’s existing access control system;
• Enable remote equipment control from the security station and ensure compliance with emergency evacuation requirements;
• Ensure that the equipment complements the facility’s architectural concept.

Infomatika delivered a comprehensive access control solution for the business center’s entrance area. The solution includes Flagman Lite swing-gate smart turnstiles, electromechanical gates, and equipment control devices.

Key Project Components:

• Flagman Lite Smart Turnstiles. Swing-gate turnstiles made of stainless steel feature a servo-driven mechanism for fast and smooth gate operation, color displays, and intelligent LED indicators. The displays show access status, reasons for access denial, and service notifications, while the LED indicators guide users through the lanes, indicate user categories, and signal unauthorized access attempts. The turnstile gate leaves and fencing elements are made of transparent tempered glass in accordance with the Customer’s specific requirements.
• Electromechanical Gates. Installed alongside the smart turnstiles, the gates can be remotely unlocked from the security station. When the fire alarm system is triggered, the gate leaves automatically open to ensure unobstructed emergency evacuation.

Integrations

The entrance area equipment is integrated with the facility’s existing Sigur access control system. At the Customer’s request, each smart turnstile is equipped with a Sigur reader supporting NFC and BLE. This enables employees to use virtual access credentials on their smartphones: access is available either by tapping the smartphone on the reader via NFC or in hands-free mode via BLE from a distance of up to 10 meters.

Turnstile Remote Controls are provided for turnstile operation, while interface converter controllers are used to integrate the equipment with the access control system.

Scope of Supply:

• Manufacturing, delivery, and installation of Flagman Lite swing-gate smart turnstiles — 5 lanes (6 units) — and electromechanical gates — 2 units;

• Supply of 5 Turnstile Remote Controls;

• Supply of 5 interface converter controllers;

• Integration with the Sigur access control system;

• Equipment commissioning.
