Innopolis University Dormitories
Equipping the Innopolis University dormitory complexes with an access control system based on Contour Bio smart turnstiles and Concept smart gates.
Implemented in 2023
On September 1, 2023, three new Innopolis University dormitory buildings were opened as part of the national project “Science and Universities.” The opening ceremony was attended by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. With the addition of the new student accommodation infrastructure, the Innopolis University residential campus doubled in size.
The new dormitory buildings required a modern access control system aligned with Innopolis University’s high-tech infrastructure.
Infomatika was tasked with the following objectives:
- Equip the entrance areas of the three new dormitory buildings with advanced access control equipment;
- Ensure secure and convenient access through the main entrance areas;
- Enable the passage of bulky items and goods through the entrance areas.
Infomatika specialists equipped the entrance areas of the three new dormitory buildings with the company’s proprietary smart access control equipment. Each dormitory building features two smart turnstile lanes and two double automated smart gates.
Key Project Components:
- Contour Bio Smart Turnstiles. Waist-high swing-gate smart turnstiles installed at the main entrances to the dormitory buildings. The equipment features built-in readers, color displays, IP cameras, and intelligent LED indicators.
- Concept Smart Gates. Automated waist-high double gates designed to provide convenient access for visitors with reduced mobility and allow the passage of bulky items. Installed at the entrances of each of the three new dormitory buildings, the gates complement the main turnstile lanes.
Scope of Supply:
- Manufacturing and supply of Contour Bio waist-high swing-gate smart turnstiles featuring built-in readers, color displays, IP cameras, and intelligent LED indicators — 6 lanes (9 units);
- Manufacturing and supply of Concept automated waist-high double smart gates designed to provide access for visitors with reduced mobility and allow the passage of bulky items — 6 units.
