Equipping the company’s office entrance area with Resonance smart access control turnstiles. Installation and integration of BioSmart biometric terminals.

Implemented in 2025

RENERA is Rosatom State Corporation’s integrator for energy storage systems and plays a key role in the development of Russian technologies for the production and implementation of lithium-ion batteries.

The new gigafactory building in New Moscow required an automated access control system for employees and visitors, with support for biometric identification.

Key Project Objectives:

  • Ensure reliable and convenient employee access to the facility while minimizing queues and the risk of unauthorized entry;
  • Integrate the new equipment with the facility’s existing access control system;

  • Ensure compliance with Russian legislation governing the use of biometric data (Federal Law No. 572-FZ);

  • Enable the use and collection of temporary visitor access cards.

To address these requirements, Infomatika delivered a comprehensive entrance access solution based on high-tech Resonance smart turnstiles made of stainless steel and impact-resistant tempered glass.

Key Project Components:

    • Resonance Smart Turnstiles. Swing-gate smart turnstiles feature a servo-driven mechanism for smooth and quiet gate operation and a two-level sensor system for monitoring the passage area and detecting unauthorized access attempts. Employees can pass through the turnstiles using either an access card or facial biometric identification.
    • Access Card Collector. Designed to collect temporary visitor access cards. When a card is inserted into the device, the temporary access credential is automatically deactivated, preventing its reuse.

    Integrations

    The smart turnstiles are integrated with the facility’s existing RUBEZH STRAZH access control system, providing centralized management of the entrance area equipment.

    At the Customer’s request, Infomatika specialists integrated BioSmart Quasar biometric terminals into the smart turnstiles, enabling employees to access the facility using either an access card or facial recognition. The biometric system complies with the requirements of Federal Law No. 572-FZ on biometrics.
