N. I. Lobachevsky Technology Park, Innopolis

Equipping the IT Park’s entrance areas with high-tech Contour Bio smart turnstiles featuring built-in IP cameras for facial recognition.

Implemented in 2021–2022.

The N. I. Lobachevsky Technology Park is one of the key landmarks in Innopolis, Russia’s high-tech city. This modern five-story multifunctional center spans a total area of 30,000 m² and features meeting rooms, a food court, coworking spaces, and offices for high-tech companies. It was established to support startups and other key development areas within the Innopolis Special Economic Zone.

The new technology park required its entrance areas to be equipped with advanced access control solutions aligned with Innopolis’s high-tech infrastructure.

Infomatika was tasked with the following objectives:

  • Equip the technology park’s entrance areas with advanced access control equipment;
  • Enable visitor identification using contactless cards, barcodes, QR codes, and biometric data;
  • Integrate the new equipment with the existing access control system;
  • Ensure the equipment complements the technology park’s modern interior design.

Key Project Components:

  • Contour Bio Smart Turnstiles. The Lobachevsky Technology Park was one of the first facilities to be equipped with Infomatika’s Contour Bio series smart turnstiles. This premium-class equipment is made of stainless steel and tempered impact-resistant glass, seamlessly complements the Technology Park’s interior, and supports access using contactless cards, barcodes/QR codes, and biometric identification.
  • Mechanical Swing Gates. Installed at the entrance areas, these gates provide convenient access for visitors with reduced mobility.
  • Half-Height Fencing for ACS. Defines access zones and guides visitor flows through the entrance control equipment.
  • Turnstile Remote Controls. Enable security personnel to operate and control the turnstiles from the security station.

The smart turnstiles are IP-based devices that can be easily integrated at the software level with both security and other information systems. As part of the project, Infomatika engineers integrated the smart turnstiles with the RUBEZH STRAZH access control system already installed at the facility.
