A. Chekhov International Airport (Khomutovo), Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Khomutovo) Airport is the main aviation hub of the Sakhalin Region. Passenger services are provided in a new airport terminal complex, which was put into operation on August 7, 2023. The terminal covers an area of over 47,000 square meters and has a design capacity of up to 5 million passengers per year. The terminal features 26 check-in counters, 11 boarding gates, and 6 telescopic ramps.

The terminal exit area is the final point of the passenger route after arrival and baggage collection, and it requires stable equipment operation with continuous passenger traffic.

• organizing the automated exit of passengers from the terminal to the city after arrival and baggage collection;

• ensuring continuous passenger traffic in the exit area;

• ensuring safe and comfortable passage for passengers with luggage.

As part of the project, swing-type smart turnstiles "Flagman Lite" manufactured by Infomatika have been installed and put into operation in the exit area from the airport complex. The design of the turnstiles is made of tempered glass and AISI 304 stainless steel.

Technological features:

• The increased height of the doors up to 2000 mm is implemented at the Customer's request to enhance the level of security;

• The 900 mm wide passageway ensures comfortable and unobstructed movement for passengers, including those carrying hand luggage and large items;

• The automatic opening of the doors is triggered by the built-in pass sensors when a passenger enters the passageway, eliminating delays and ensuring a continuous flow of passengers.

• "Anti-Panic" mode - in emergency situations, the doors instantly unlock, ensuring a free and safe exit for passengers;

• The built-in smart controller ensures stable operation of the system, even during temporary restrictions or communication disruptions;

• Information displays and marketing indicators provide passengers with information about the status of the passage;

• The built-in sensor belt allows for efficient management of passenger traffic.

The installed smart turnstiles provide high throughput and meet the transport security requirements established by Government Decree No. 969 of the Russian Federation dated September 26, 2016.

Scope of equipment

• Production, delivery, and installation of Flagman Lite smart turnstiles with 3 passages and 6 posts;

• Installation and commissioning services.
