Vnukovo International Airport, Moscow
Implemented in 2024
The "Flagman Lite" smart turnstile is a high-tech device made of stainless steel with high leaves of tempered impact-resistant glass, designed for automated control of passenger access to the boarding area.
Project Objectives:
Automating passenger access control to the boarding area;
Improving the efficiency of airport staff;
Ensuring a high level of security and quality of passenger service.
As part of the first stage of the pilot project in 2023, one "Flagman Lite" smart turnstile was installed and put into test operation at Vnukovo Airport. After successful testing, minor modifications were made to the equipment at the Customer's request.
In 2024, the second stage of the pilot project began: the boarding gate area (Gates 12 and 12A) was equipped with "Flagman Lite" smart turnstiles of a new modification:
The display has been moved to a separate stand on the body.
The standard-sized pallet has been replaced with a more compact one with rubber coating. This ensures unimpeded passage for all categories of passengers.
A functional emergency button has been installed as part of the access control system. It allows for emergency opening of the turnstile leaves to enable unimpeded passage.
Integration
The smart turnstiles are integrated with the Zamar Digital Sky Marshall electronic system, which addresses a range of tasks aimed at ensuring security and improving the quality of passenger service.
Project Development
In the future, the airport plans to fully equip all boarding areas with the new smart access control turnstiles.
