Infomatika at the Russia–Africa Forum

Infomatika at the Russia–Africa Forum

On October 28–29, 2026, Moscow hosts the Russia–Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum, an international platform for advancing trade, investment, and technological cooperation.

The forum brings together government officials, leading companies, and experts from Russia and African countries to discuss strategic areas of cooperation and launch joint projects.

One of the forum’s focus areas is technology and innovation to improve quality of life. The exhibition showcases solutions that demonstrate the capabilities of Russian technology developers.

Moscow’s Department of Information Technology (DIT) is showcasing a joint solution developed with Infomatika at its booth, alongside other technologies for city services. The Vector Plus smart turnstile demonstrates automated access using facial recognition through the Moscow regional segment of the Unified Biometric System.

As Russia’s only regional segment of the Unified Biometric System, it enables Moscow to introduce and expand biometric services using the city’s digital infrastructure.
