Smart Turnstiles for Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport

Infomatika has successfully completed the project of equipping the Chekhov International Airport (Khomutovo) with smart turnstiles of the "Flagman Lite" series. The new equipment has been installed in the area of passengers' exit from the new air terminal complex.

The introduction of smart turnstiles has made it possible to automate the passage, ensure continuous flow of passengers and reduce the likelihood of congestion. Passage through the turnstiles is carried out automatically: the doors open when a passenger enters the area, which speeds up the process and makes it more convenient. The 900 mm wide passage provides comfortable movement with luggage, and the increased height of the doors to 2000 mm increases the level of security. In emergency situations, the "anti-panic" mode is provided for instant unlocking of the doors.

The equipment is equipped with a built-in smart controller, which ensures stable operation of the system even during temporary communication disruptions. Built-in tensional belts are used for additional organization of passenger traffic.

The project included the production, supply, installation, and commissioning of smart turnstiles. The solution is integrated with the existing airport infrastructure.

Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport is the largest aviation hub in the Far East. The new airport complex, which was put into operation in 2023, is designed to handle up to 5 million passengers per year.
