Smart turnstiles for Kazan Airport

Infomatika has successfully completed a project to equip the entrances to Terminal 2 of the G. M. Tukai International Airport (Kazan) with smart turnstiles of the Flagship Light Aero series. The solution is aimed at improving the safety and comfort of passengers using the VIP lounge and the high‑comfort lounge.

The installation of smart turnstiles made it possible to automate the control of passenger access by boarding passes and organize access to high-service areas without staff participation, increasing the capacity of the entrance groups.

The turnstiles of the Flagman Lite Aero series are IP devices that are easily integrated at the software level with both security systems and other information systems. As part of the project, Infomatics specialists integrated the equipment with the airport's internal system, ensuring its stable operation as part of the existing IT infrastructure.

To streamline passenger flows, the entrances are also equipped with an Accent 975 fence system. The fences are designed in the same style as smart turnstiles, which ensures the aesthetic integrity of the space.

Kazan International Airport is the largest aviation hub in the Republic of Tatarstan and is one of the TOP 20 airports in Russia in terms of passenger traffic. The airport serves more than 5 million passengers annually and provides flights to more than 50 destinations within the country and abroad.
