M2030 - winner of the "Best Industrial Design of Russia" award
Smart turnstile M2030 of Infomatika company became the winner of the National award "The best industrial design of Russia – 2025"An innovative solution in the field of urban transport, the M2030 smart turnstile from Infomatika, was awarded the highest award in the Design Product category of the Urban Design category of the National Award "Best Industrial Design of Russia – 2025".
The National Award "The Best Industrial Design of Russia" is the main national competition in the field of industrial and product design, established by decree of the Government of the Russian Federation. The award is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation together with the Government of Moscow.
The innovative M2030 device is a state-of-the-art access control and fare payment solution designed specifically for Moscow's transport infrastructure, including the metro, MCC, MCD and suburban transportation.
Key advantages of a smart turnstile:
- Support for all modern payment methods, including contactless bank and transport cards (Troika), virtual transport cards, NFC, QR codes, SBP and Face Pay.
- Increased capacity: the width of the turnstile stand is only 125mm, which allows you to place more turnstiles in one lobby and, as a result, increases the capacity up to 40%; •
- Vibration response when making a payment is a feature for visually impaired people. Upon successful payment, the turnstile emits a vibration signal, confirming that it is possible to pass. This helps you navigate without visual confirmation.
- Light floor projection of the biometric payment detection zone: helps passengers quickly figure out where to stop to pay using Face Pay.
- The reversible mode of operation allows, if necessary, to switch the flow of passengers in any direction depending on the load, which also affects the capacity of the station at times of critical load.
- The increased number of aisle sensors allows you to more accurately determine the position of the passenger inside the device, recognize the presence of luggage and exclude premature closing of the doors. The turnstile doors close quickly but safely without causing injury.
- A bright light indication of the payment status located along the turnstile body reflects whether the transaction was successful, helps metro employees to visually monitor the payment and promptly respond to attempted violations.
- The modular design makes it possible to quickly change the functionality of the product without replacing the product or lengthy engineering work. Additionally, it simplifies maintenance or repairs.
- This is an IoT device. The turnstile belongs to the category of smart devices and can be connected to various monitoring and diagnostic systems.

The scale of the competition is impressive: in 2025, more than 500 projects from 63 regions of Russia participated in the award. The projects were evaluated by an independent expert jury based on criteria of technological novelty, ergonomics, artistic significance, cross-industry significance and potential for industrial production.
The victory in the prestigious competition confirms the high level of Russian developments in the field of industrial design and strengthens Infomatika's position as a leader in innovative technologies in the transport industry.
