Gymnastics center, Kazan

Comprehensive equipment of the sports complex with the Lenta ticket system.

Implemented in 2013.

The Gymnastics Center in Kazan is one of Russia’s largest specialized sports complexes, designed for training sessions and competitions at various levels. The venue features multipurpose sports facilities and a competition hall accommodating 3,200 spectators.

In 2013, the Gymnastics Center hosted events of the 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan. Preparations for the international competition required a modern ticketing and access control system to manage ticketing services and spectator entry.

Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:

  • Automate ticketing services for sporting events.
  • Organize spectator access control at the venue.
  • Equip entrances with turnstiles for controlled visitor passage.
  • Enable staff to operate the ticketing and access control system from automated workstations.

In preparation for the 2013 Universiade, Infomatika implemented the LENTA-Sports Palace ticketing and access control system at the Gymnastics Center and equipped its entrances with turnstiles.
