Gazovik stadium, Orenburg

Comprehensive equipment of the stadium with LENTA TSACS.

Implemented in 2017

Enhancement and customization of the stadium in accordance with the new requirements and specifications of the Fan Identification System (FIS).

Implemented in 2022.

Gazovik Stadium is the home ground of FC Orenburg, formerly known as Gazovik. The stadium accommodates 10,000 spectators and hosts football matches.

In 2017, the stadium’s ticketing and access control infrastructure underwent modernization. Supporting ticketing services for FC Orenburg matches required an automated ticket sales system, spectator access control, and appropriate entrance equipment.

Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:

  • Implement a unified ticketing and access control system to automate ticket sales and spectator admission;
  • Equip the stadium’s entrances with spectator access control equipment;
  • Enable video identification at entrance areas;
  • Enable data exchange with the Russian Football Premier League’s ticket sales and fan identification system;
  • Establish system management infrastructure and automated staff workstations;
  • Enable online ticket sales through FC Orenburg’s online store.

Infomatika implemented the LENTA automated ticketing and access control system and comprehensively equipped the stadium’s entrance areas. The system brought ticket sales and access control together, while the online store enabled online ticket purchases for FC Orenburg matches.

Project Expansion in 2022

In 2022, Infomatika upgraded Gazovik Stadium’s spectator access control system to meet Fan Identification System (FIS) requirements. The work included adapting existing hardware and software, integrating the system with FIS, upgrading access points, and implementing additional information security measures.

The upgrade covered several areas:

  • Engineering Design and Information Security. Detailed engineering design was completed, a threat model and an adversary model were developed, and an additional information security subsystem was implemented.
  • Server Infrastructure. A fault-tolerant server cluster running LENTA software was added to the spectator access control system.
  • FIS Integration. The stadium’s access control system was integrated with the Fan Identification System.
  • Access Point Upgrades. Interactive control modules with monitoring devices and additional equipment were installed across 27 turnstile passage lanes in accordance with FIS requirements.
  • Additional Equipment. Mobile data collection terminals were supplied, and two Horizon waist-height turnstiles with the Vizir video identification system were manufactured, installed, and commissioned.

Under these requirements, fans, organizers, media representatives, and even players are only allowed to enter the stadium upon presentation of a Fan Card to ensure maximum security during matches.

The upgrade was carried out in accordance with Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Order No. 1092 dated November 17, 2015, and Russian Ministry of Sport Order No. 676 dated August 22, 2022.
