Arena 2000 is a modern multifunctional cultural and entertainment complex in Yaroslavl with a maximum capacity of 8,905 people. It serves as the home arena of Lokomotiv Hockey Club and the city’s largest indoor concert venue. Its adaptable infrastructure allows the ice arena to be converted into a concert venue in just a day and a half. Performers hosted over the years include Scorpions, Deep Purple, Smokie, Ottawan, Patricia Kaas, and other renowned artists.
System Management Infrastructure
The project required a modern ticketing and access control system for hockey games, supporting ticket and season pass sales through multiple channels, ticket inventory management, and spectator access control. Particular attention was given to developing online sales and providing the club with tools to manage reservations, quotas, and group bookings.
Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:
Infomatika implemented the LENTA ticketing and access control system, combining ticket and season pass sales, ticket inventory management, and spectator access control. The system enabled sales from a shared ticket inventory through the complex’s box offices and Lokomotiv Hockey Club’s online store without allocating quotas to individual sales channels in advance. It also supports the connection of ticket operators, city ticket offices, third-party websites using a ticketing widget, and mobile applications.
Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:
- Automate ticket and season pass sales for Lokomotiv Hockey Club’s games.
- Organize spectator access control at the arena.
- Enable management of individual sales, reservations, quotas, and group bookings.
- Develop an online store for ticket and season pass sales on the hockey club’s website.
- Enable sales from a shared ticket inventory through the complex’s box offices and online channels without allocating quotas in advance.
- Equip the server node and automated staff workstations.

- LENTA Ticketing and Access Control System. Automates ticket and season pass sales, manages reservations, quotas, and group bookings, and controls spectator access.
- Waist-Height Turnstiles. Provide controlled spectator passage at the complex’s entrances.
- Lokomotiv Hockey Club Online Ticket Store. Enables online sales of tickets and season passes for the club’s games.

The project included a server node and nine automated staff workstations: three cashier workstations, two manager workstations, and four ticket resolution team workstations.
Scope of Supply:
- Implementation of the LENTA ticketing and access control system.

- Setup of ticket resolution team workstations — 4 units.
- Development and launch of an online ticket and season pass store on Lokomotiv Hockey Club’s website.
Project Expansion in 2020
In 2020, Infomatika equipped the Lokomotiv Multifunctional Sports Complex in Yaroslavl with the LENTA-Sport ticketing and access control system. The venue is used for training sessions and games of Lokomotiv’s youth hockey team, as well as public skating.
The project included the manufacture, supply, and installation of two Vector waist-height turnstiles, the supply of two Lenta-TSD mobile ticket validation terminals, and the setup of cashier and manager-administrator workstations.
