Megasport palace of sports, Moscow
Access control equipment upgrade.
Implemented in 2017
The project aimed to improve venue security and customer service, upgrade the existing access control system, and enable online sales of tickets and season passes.
Infomatika was responsible for the following tasks:
- Implement the LENTA automated ticketing and access control system using the existing access control infrastructure;
- Adapt the installed turnstiles to validate tickets and other access credentials;
- Enable mobile ticket validation;
- Develop an online store for ticket and season pass sales;
- Enable data exchange between LENTA, the online store, and the sports palace’s CRM system.
As part of the project, Infomatika upgraded the existing access control infrastructure without replacing the installed turnstiles, implemented the LENTA automated ticketing and access control system, and developed software solutions for online ticket sales and integration with the venue’s other systems.
Key Project Components
- LENTA Automated Ticketing and Access Control System. Provides the software foundation for the sports palace’s ticketing and access control infrastructure, supporting ticket and season pass management and validation at event entrances.
- Custom-Designed Readers. Infomatika developed 10 readers to upgrade the existing full-height dual-lane turnstiles without replacing them. The readers support barcodes, MIFARE contactless cards, and Mastercard PayPass.
- Linea Pro Mobile Readers. Six devices provide additional ticket validation away from fixed access control points.
- Online Ticket Store. Developed by Infomatika to enable online sales of tickets and season passes for events at the sports palace.
Integration
To connect ticketing processes, Infomatika developed a dedicated integration module linking LENTA, the online ticket store, and the sports palace’s CRM system.
